Many of our clients are looking for homes for large groups in Costa Rica for big events such as weddings, family vacations, business conferences, and multi family surf trips.

The first rule about making arrangements for large groups is start early. Larger homes tend to book up faster and when booking clusters of condos, it is very unlikely that at least a couple won't be booked already if you start late.

Properties for large groups in Costa Rica can take different shapes. You can book one very large home or look to book two large homes close to each other. You can also book a large home as a sort of base for shared meals and hanging out and smaller homes or condos around it for sleeping and privacy.

Very Large Homes in Costa Rica

In absolute terms, the two largest homes we rent are:

• Villa Paraiso in Tamarindo, Costa Rica sleeps 16. This home has spectacular views and is often used for weddings.
• Casa de Playa Hacienda Pinilla in Hacienda Pinilla sleeps 14. This home is located directly on a very private beach.

If your group is larger, you have some options. If you were to rent Villa Paraiso, you could add additional homes or condos from our selection. If you were to rent Casa de Playa Hacienda Pinilla, you could choose to additionally rent either of the other two homes we rent in Las Golondrinas community.

In conjunction with Casa de Playa Hacienda Pinilla, you could rent:

• Casa Marbella, which sleeps 10 and is located in Las Golondrinas community, a very short walk to the beach at Hacienda Pinilla.
• Casa Jardines, which sleeps 8 and is also located in Las Golondrinas community, Hacienda Pinilla.

Another large home is Casa Ix Chel in Tamarindo. It sleeps 10-12 in the main house and if booked far enough in advance, the cabinas that sleep 2 each can be booked as well to bring the total up to 16. This home is also just 50 meters from the Villa Verde II condos, where additional rentals can be made.

In Playa Grande, you can rent Casa Muy Grande, which sleeps 10, a beach front "private resort" that comes with two live in caretakers as well as a barbecue area, bar area, paddle tennis and ocean toys including kayaks and surf boards. Additionally, Casa Estrella del Mar can be rented as large groups have in the past for weddings.

Condos in Groups in Costa Rica

If booked far enough in advance, we can book condos for large groups in Costa Rica. Multiple units in the same complex is an ideal set up for some groups! This option is ideal for groups seeking a little bit more privacy.

Langosta:

The Courtyard Villas is a complex of free standing 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath homes. Casa Quetzalcoatl (sleeps 8) and Villa Bougainvillea (sleeps 6) are mirror images of each other. Each Courtyard Villa has a private pool and private rooftop jacuzzi!

CPM also manages units at La Esquina, which is about 50 yards from the Courtyard Villas. We offer Condo El Clasico and Condo Elegante.

Tamarindo:

We manage the entire top floor of Leora Pacifico including two 4 bedroom units and one three bedroom unit. We also have a second three bedroom one floor below:

• Leora Pacifico 202 - 3 bedroom.
• Leora Pacifico 302 - 3 bedroom.
• Leora Pacifico 301 - 4 bedroom.
• Leora Pacifico 303 - 4 bedroom.

We manage 5 units at Villa Verde II in Tamarindo. Each unit sleeps 4-6 people.
