A quiet country town that is starting to grow up, Marbella is located in between Junquillal and Ostional.  The center of town is a soccer field with small restaurants including a good pizza place and bars around this area.

A quiet country town that is starting to grow up, Marbella is located in between Junquillal and Ostional.  The center of town is a soccer field with small restaurants including a good pizza place and bars around this area.  Due to the involvement of two American investors who bought up much of Marbella over the last 10 years, the area is beginning to grow in a controlled way. Homes, lots and condos are now available in planned neighborhoods with good division between commercial and residential areas.  The beach at Marbella is excellent for surfing, with multiple peaks.  Marbella is a quieter area, and still has many beautiful native trees, and the development has been smaller scale and eco-friendly so far.
